Gardening - Therapy for your mind and heart

For me, therapy looks like many things: Talking to a licensed therapist (of course), do yoga, napping writing, and definitely putting my hands in the dirt. It is a physical form of grounding. To feel the ground move through my hand - muddy, sandy, or coarse - it doesn't matter. It's something about the feel - the texture.

I don't get the feeling like most that I'm small compared to everything else in the world; cultivating the Earth makes me feel like I can make a difference - today tomorrow and even long after I'm gone. Talk about perspective <3.

Anyways, here's a picture of a crab apple tree that's coming back to life. It had blossoms for the first time in years.
